FAQ

What files do you accept?

For printing: STL, STEP or 3MF through the instant quoter. For machining: a STEP model plus a PDF drawing with tolerances.

How fast can I get parts?

Printed parts: it depends on size, material and what's already on the farm, and you get a ship date when you order. Machined parts: lead time is quoted with each job. Give us your need-by date and we'll tell you if we can hit it.

Is there a minimum order?

No. Minimum order is 1 part. Machined parts are quoted job by job, since quantity drives the price.

Why did my print quote need a review?

Very large or high-value parts get a quick look from a person before they print, so a failed 30-hour print doesn't become your problem or ours.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. Tick the NDA box on the quote form and send yours.

What tolerances can you hold?

We're GD&T fluent and prefer drawings that use it. Our standard, everyday tolerances are 5 µm on Swiss-turned parts and 20 µm on milled parts. Those aren't our limits; tighter is quoted per job. Printed parts: as listed per material in the instant quoter. Put critical dimensions on the drawing and we'll tell you up front if anything is a problem.

Can you do heat treat, plating or coatings?

Yes. Tumbling, bead blasting, plating, anodizing, nitriding, heat treating, black oxide and passivation. Call it out on the drawing and it's included in the quote.

Where do you ship?

Anywhere in the US. Local pickup in Wrightstown, WI is available too; just tell us when you order or on your quote request.

What if a part is wrong?

If a part doesn't match your order or drawing, email us within 14 days of delivery with photos and what's off. If the miss is ours, we remake it at no charge and cover return shipping. If a remake can't meet your deadline, or the remake misses too, we refund those parts instead.

Because every part is made to your file, we can't take returns for design changes, a wrong file or quantity on your end, or fit issues that come from the model itself. Normal FDM texture and layer lines aren't defects. Our responsibility is limited to the price of the affected parts.

How do I pay?

Instant quote orders are paid by credit card. ACH is available for larger orders, and NET terms are available after a credit review.
