Swiss-turned and milled parts
Titanium, stainless, steels, brass, aluminum and plastics, turned and milled in-house. Send us your drawing and we'll send you a number.
Swiss lathe
Small, complex turned parts done in one setup. The part is turned, drilled, threaded and milled on the main spindle, then picked off by the sub-spindle so the back side gets finished too. No second op, no refixturing.
- Deep-hole drilling
- Thread turning
- Cross and face milling with live tools, C-axis contours
- Bar stock and tube stock
Bridgeport VMC
Plates, brackets and prismatic parts, with 40 inches of X travel. We cut our own aluminum parts on it, including batches nested out of a single plate.
- Profiling, pocketing, drilling and rigid tapping
- Nested plate work for batches of small parts
What to send
- STEP model
- PDF drawing, GD&T preferred
- Material, quantity and target date
- Finish, heat treat or coating requirements
Quantities
Prototype quantities through production runs. The Swiss runs off a bar feeder, so repeat volumes are where it shines.
Minimum order is 1. Quantity drives price, so every machining job is quoted individually.
Lead time depends on material, quantity and what's already on the machines, so it comes with your quote. Tell us your need-by date and we'll tell you straight if we can hit it.
Inspection and GD&T
We're GD&T fluent and prefer drawings that use it. We quote and inspect to your datums and feature control frames, on an automated, high-precision vision measuring system that resolves well below our quoted tolerances. Inspection reports and documentation are provided as your job requires.
Happy to sign your NDA before you send files.
Post-processing
Parts show up ready to use. Call out the finish on your drawing and we'll handle it as part of the quote.
About our tolerances: the numbers listed are our standard, the tolerances we hold every day without special handling. They're not the limit of the machines. Need tighter? Put it on the drawing and we'll quote it.
